here's something more fun than just reading!
JOIN THE WORLD CUP FANTASY FOOTBALL!
YEAH!
I've just set up a group at the official WC FF site.
At current count, there's only 7 people in my group! (though I expect more soon since I only set it up today)
So JOIN US!!!
I hate playing alone!

It's simple, really!
Ok, not that simple, but my 11-yr-old brother is playing, so it can't be that hard! I've passed him a World Cup magazine on all the team line-ups to help him with it, and he's right now studying it carefully to pick his players. See! He's so hardworking!
All you have to do is to pick a 23-man squad like they do in real life. Then apparently from there you pick 11 players to play... ahh, that's what I've figured out so far anyway. There're more complicated parts about the amount of transfers you can make, the captain thing, the bench, the limit of 3 players from a team, but the main gist of it is to pick 23 for the competition, then 11 for the games!
Anyway, don't take the game too seriously... but if you win our group, at least you'll have boasting rights! Hahaha.
And if you're playing, here's a tip:
Use the search option to search for the players you have in mind. I seriously couldn't be bothered to go through the pages of player names, most of whom I've never heard of. And obviously, pick more of those from the better teams, and confirmed starters. But you can include a few from lesser teams, since history tells us there'll always be surprise teams.
